Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour

IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring a skilled General Fabricator for a local client! If you have experience working with steel, reading blueprints, and operating plate rolling equipment, this could be a great opportunity to put your fabrication skills to work in a full-time position.

Shift: Straight days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $20-25 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC plate rolling equipment to fabricate metal components, including cylindrical shells, cones, and other custom shapes.
• Operate structural steel rolling equipment to form steel sections to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Use measuring tools and instruments to verify dimensions and maintain accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete fabrication projects safely and efficiently.
• Handle steel materials and perform physical tasks, including some heavy lifting.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working with steel in a metal fabrication environment.
• Strong blueprint-reading skills, preferably in custom metal fabrication.
• Experience with structural steel rolling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting as required.

Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:

• Saw cutting equipment.
• Pipe bending equipment.
• Industrial equipment maintenance.
• Forklift operation.
• Overhead crane operation.
