Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour
IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring a skilled General Fabricator for a local client! If you have experience working with steel, reading blueprints, and operating plate rolling equipment, this could be a great opportunity to put your fabrication skills to work in a full-time position.
Shift: Straight days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20-25 (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC plate rolling equipment to fabricate metal components, including cylindrical shells, cones, and other custom shapes.
- Operate structural steel rolling equipment to form steel sections to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Use measuring tools and instruments to verify dimensions and maintain accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete fabrication projects safely and efficiently.
- Handle steel materials and perform physical tasks, including some heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with steel in a metal fabrication environment.
- Strong blueprint-reading skills, preferably in custom metal fabrication.
- Experience with structural steel rolling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting as required.

Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Saw cutting equipment.
- Pipe bending equipment.
- Industrial equipment maintenance.
- Forklift operation.
- Overhead crane operation.
