Job Description
Job Title: Press Set Up Operator - Permanent Hire
Location: Woodstock, Ontario
Work Type: Permanent
Salary: $65K/yr

What you'll do
- Setting up and operating punch presses and stamping presses.
- Setting up, adjusting, aligning presses.
- Performing daily Preventative Maintenance Check List.
- Inspecting product as per SOP’s
- Ensuring all proper equipment has guarding in place.
- Loading of coils onto un-coilers.
- Complete all set ups and first-offs with machine operators.
- Able to troubleshoot, adjust sensors etc.
- Continuous operation of press during break periods, covering for the regular press operators on identified equipment.
- Follow health and safety standards, policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in metal stampings or forming.
- Ability to operate a Crane independently and safely to become Crane Certified.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Good communication skills.
