Pay: $30.00-$40.00/hour

IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for our client, a growing and well-established machining company, seeking experienced CNC Machinists - 5 Axis to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Shift Details

• Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:45 AM (Monday to Thursday)
• Training will be conducted on the day shift
• Overtime available after 40 hours

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines using CNC controls
• Perform tool setup, calibration, and adjust tool offsets
• Machine parts to specifications based on engineering drawings and customer requirements
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition (cleaning, lubrication, coolant levels)
• Perform general housekeeping including chip removal and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
• Inspect and maintain measuring instruments in compliance with ISO standards
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Red Seal Machinist Certification (required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with 5-axis CNC machining (required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with 3-axis machining (required)
• Strong understanding of machining principles, G & M code
• Experience with Haas CNC machines (NGC Control) is an asset
• Experience working with castings is considered a strong asset
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
