Express SRG is recruiting for a Direct hire Senior Accountant for a heavy civil construction client in London, ON. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team; this position will be the financial expert for the organization and will be supervising AP/AR.

Responsibilities: (Not limited to:)

• Collaborations with project managers for job costing reports 
• Overseeing accounts receivables (invoicing, deposits, collections) 
• Overseeing accounts payables (bills, payments, expense reporting) 
• Payroll processing (time sheets, source deductions, ROE’s, T4’s) 
• Other duties as assigned. 

 Requirements: 

• 5 plus years of proven accounting experience- construction experience is required 
• Accounting diploma: working towards CPA designation is ideal 
• Sound technical capabilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability 
• Proficiency in Sage 300 is ideal. Intermediate to advanced Excel  
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently, and work in a team environment
