Job Description
At Scintica we are committed to advancing science by bringing new and interesting products to preclinical labs and assisting scientists with implementing these technologies into their research protocols. Our products include imaging modalities such as ultrasound, SPECT/PET/CT, MRI, bioluminescence/fluorescence, DEXA, microCT, photoacoustic, and intra-vital microscopy. We also offer physiological monitoring devices to measure blood flow velocity, tissue oxygenation, and microvascular function, as well as a selection of equipment and supplies for cellular and molecular biology.
We are looking for a highly organized, dynamic, outgoing, and motivated individual with a degree in life sciences or biomedical sciences to join our sales team as Territory Sales Manager for the highly competitive Southeast region. The successful candidate will have an ability to understand multiple research methodologies, as well as various imaging modalities. Prior experience outside of academia will be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Sales Development & Pipeline Generation
- Responsible to deliver targeted sales within the specified territory.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers in the specified territory for the full Scintica product portfolio.
- Self-generate pipeline through research, networking, and outreach to build a robust sales funnel.
- Qualify and convert leads generated by the Business Development Representative team, working collaboratively to move opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Conduct virtual presentations and demonstrations of equipment.
- Assist with onsite demonstrations of equipment.
- Issue quotes, create opportunities and schedule appropriate follow up using the company CRM.
- Foster and nurture strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle and post-sale.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for repeat business and expansion.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers to understand evolving research needs and position relevant solutions.
- Support customers in successful implementation and adoption of Scintica products within their research workflows.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Management team, leveraging that team's expertise to advance sales opportunities, and providing consistent feedback to them on the sales pipeline.
- Provide feedback to the Product Management team on new or improved marketing initiatives that will successfully position our products.
- Partner with Business Development Representatives to align on territory strategy, lead qualification criteria, and customer priorities.
- Events & Professional Development
- Attend conferences and/or trade shows on behalf of Scintica, as required.
- Assist with recruiting guest speakers for company promotional events.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in life sciences, biomedical science or engineering, cellular/molecular biology, or similar.
- Advanced degrees would be an asset.

Additional qualifications:
- Experience with pre-clinical imaging systems would be an asset.
- Knowledge of rodent anatomy and physiology would be an asset.
- Understanding of the modalities that Scintica represents in its product portfolio is required.
- Experience with small animal practices and techniques – Animal Care and Handling, including
- Anesthesia would be an asset.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional sales or customer success experience, preferably in technical/scientific equipment or B2B sales.
- Additional language skills are an asset.
