TEMPORARY RESEARCH & ASSESSMENT ASSOCIATE
POSITION TITLE: Temporary Research & Assessment Associate
RATE OF PAY: $44.94 - $56.68 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
DATE OF VACANCY: As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manager, Research & Assessment Services, the incumbent supports the organization at the system and school level by conducting research, assessment and evaluation projects. Responsibilities include: research, assessment, and evaluation design and implementation; collecting/accessing demographic, process, and outcome data; analysis of quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate methods and software; preparation, presentation and dissemination of oral and written research, assessment and evaluation reports; and consultation and support in the use of data to support decision making.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: A Master’s Degree in the Social Sciences and experience in community-based or education related research or program evaluation, survey development, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, preparation, analysis and reporting of large scale data, data management and working knowledge of software (e.g. Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, R, and SPSS). Familiarity with Student Information Systems is an asset.
