Our client is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing dynamic team. Located in Brantford, you will need previous accounts payable experience, have a strong attention to detail, and the ability to organize and prioritize is paramount.
Temporary 1-month contract, with the opportunity for an extension or the possibility to become permanent
Key responsibilities:
• Sorting, matching and data entry of all invoices
• Handle vendor inquiries
• Processing credit applications for new vendors
• Maintenance of new and existing vendor information
• Filing of all accounts payable information
• Reconciliation of vendor statements
• Data entry into ERP System (JDE)
• 3 way matching
• Back up to reception and other administrative duties
Advantages
Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Competitive Wage: $18-20/hr
Qualifications
• Accounts payable experience is a must
• Previous experience working an ERP System (JDE) would be an asset
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
