Job Description:
 
BGL Group Inc. is currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to plan, manage and implement medium to large, reasonably complex projects.  Travel of 4 days per week to the customer site will be required for this position. PMP Certification is required for this position.
 
Role and Responsibility:

• Manage all phases of Application Development or Infrastructure projects from Project Initiation and Planning to Development and Implementation within project budgets
• Create project charters, plans and estimates as the leader of medium to large, moderately complex projects
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates and resource plans in conjunction with project team members and other sub-teams
• Monitor and manage projects and resources relative to stated plans, budget constraints and timelines.Bring issues to the project sponsors/business leaders involved and present recommended solutions
• Ensure all project management practices and disciplines are adhered to

 
Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 7 years Project Management Experience
• Proven leadership including the abilityto communicate with all levels of an organization as well as the proven ability to manage client relationships
• PMP certification
• Proven ability to organize multiple projects, schedules and time efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment where high client expectations exist
• Demonstrated desire to keep knowledge of Information Technology tools, products and trends up-to-date
• You must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Previous contractor experience
• Large corporate experience

 
Education:

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related IT discipline is preferred
