Job Description

This Opportunity:

This is an exciting senior management opportunity for a seasoned marketing leader. The successful candidate will lead Cleanlist’s marketing initiatives plus be a consulting resource for Cleanlist’s clients who want to use our data and services to improve their marketing outcomes.

Cleanlist is beginning a scale-up journey with the objective of doubling in size (from a ~20 people) over the next 18 months. Marketing and sales are business functions that have considerable opportunity to expand, improve, and grow under your expert leadership.

What we’ll provide for you:

We want to inspire you, and we want you to inspire us. It’s really that simple.

We’re prepared to offer you an excellent compensation package and a rewarding and flexible working environment.

It’s more important to us to find the right person to fulfill this role, than finding someone who fits into our standard model. If this position sounds like one that you could thrive in, let's talk and discuss the compensation, schedule, and commitments that would be ideal for you.

To be successful, you’ll require these qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • A formal education in business management and marketing, preferably at a masters level.

  • At least 5 years of working experience in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably in B2B environments.

  • Experience and an appreciation for working in smaller organizations where speed, flexibility, independence, and accountability are essential qualities.

  • Significant experience utilizing direct and digital marketing tactics.

  • An excellent grasp of current marketing technology and tools including those used for program design, management, and attribution.

  • Advanced industry knowledge and strong connections with industry partners and suppliers (especially independent contractors and freelancers).

  • A natural talent for campaign development and creative direction.

  • A platform you can leverage (or be willing to develop) to educate and influence others in the marketing industry to align with Cleanlist through content development, speaking engagements, and other venues.

  • Experience in working in or with sales and account management teams to develop and retain client relationships.

  • A passion for people, growth, and process.

Next Steps:

If Cleanlist and this role sounds like it’s your calling, we want to hear from you soon! Although resumes are great, we really like to hear from applicants willing to invest a little time and tell us in your cover letter why this role interests you and why you’re the best candidate to fill it. It’s also helpful to share your salary expectations and availability to start.
