Your Future:
 
  • You are a dynamic and outgoing,  looking to implement change and provide ideas on improvements
  • You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • You will work directly with Maintenance, Engineering and Production to optimize waste reduction and run rate initiatives
  • You will support all levels of production
  • You are accountable for seamless line changeovers, mechanical equipment set-up and mainteance of equipment 
  • You will be responsible for handling basic equipment repairs, adjustments, training and preventative maintenance
  • You provide support by troubleshooting malfunctions on the production lines and support the line operators in the daily operation of equipment to achieve output and quality standards
  • You will be a key member of the maintenance and production team that will contribute to the success of Dr. Oetker.
  • You will be part of the team that produces highest quality Dr. Oetker products. Food safety and security is of the utmost importance for Dr. Oetker and for you
  • You will consistently follow all Dr. Oetker Health & Safety policies and procedures, setting a positive example while exercising care within your work to prevent injuries to yourself and others
  • You will be trained and responsible for maintaining HACCP standards

 


Your Strengths:
 
  • You will have obtained your high school diploma or equivalent
  • You will have a College level diploma or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, utility systems and HVAC would be an asset
  • Job mechanical experience would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail
  • You are able to handle pressure and to set priorities as well as being an effective communicator with the ability to work with others in a highly dynamic and flexible work environment
  • You are able to handle heavy loads (up to 25 KG) and have good hand-eye co-ordination
  • You can stand for long periods of time and are able to work in extreme conditions with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
  • You are able to work a rotating 8 hour shift
  • You must be able to touch and work with pork, chicken and beef products
  • You have your own transportation as public transportation is not available
