Have you worked with Manufacturing or Engineering companies?
If so, this could be the role for you!
This role will involve compiling and providing all documents for company engineering projects.
Managing the documentation system for technical documents and drawing files
Coordinating and managing the documentation requirements and workload on assigned projects
Sending and receiving all project transmittals to and from clients, and ensuring the same are filed in the designated project folders
Coordinating with Project Leads to prepare other technical documentation of projects
Preparing documentation schedules on a project to project basis
Producing and maintaining all relevant documentation as per project requirements
Preparing production packages, ensuring the correct and complete
Organizing documentation into quality books and operation manuals
Providing and assisting with development of standard products, documentation and specification sheets for products
Assisting Project Leads in preparing and maintaining P&ID (Process & Instrumentation) drawings in CAD
Sending periodic project updates to client(s)
Following designated procedures for creating, coordinating and/or documenting information in SAP or other programs
Utilizing SAP to create and maintaining BOMs
Assisting in special projects as required
Developing the project engineering document system (processes and forms)
The Documentation Coordinator is responsible for archiving hard-copies of project documents, classifying and indexing documents, creating and maintaining document deliverable matrix and document distribution matrix, defining document life cycle and secure disposal processes. This
position will perform some general administrative duties.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
Degree/Diploma in a technical field, or equivalent related work experience
Experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical field preferred
AutoCAD required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat PDF (editing, combining, etc.)
Professional individual with detail-oriented, organization, documentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
