Forklift / Automotive Mechanic

Pay: $25.00-$45.00/hour

IS2 is hiring Automotive Technician/Forklift Technician for a leading client in the material handling industry. This is a field-based role ideal for automotive or heavy equipment technicians looking for a rewarding and independent work environment.

Location: Kitchener, ON

Pay: $25.00–$45.00/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel within your assigned service zone (e.g., Kitchener, Guelph, Brantford area) to service equipment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts directly at client sites
  • Perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
  • Communicate with customers regarding repairs and service recommendations
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
What We're Looking For
  • Experience as an automotive, truck & coach (310T), heavy equipment (421A), or industrial mechanic (310S) would be an asset, but not required
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (major asset) – as most equipment is electric
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing, field-based role
  • Ability to work independently without daily branch reporting
  • Valid driver's license required
