Logistics Coordinator
Pay: $26.00/hour
Are you an organized, hands-on logistics professional who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly? We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator / Order Management Specialist to join an established team in Cambridge, Ontario.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory coordination, and order management who is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with day-to-day operational needs.
Location: Cambridge, Ontario
Hourly Rate: $26.00/hour
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate daily logistics activities between internal departments and external warehouse locations.
- Oversee materials movement, including receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory management.
- Process orders, purchase orders, shipping documentation, commercial invoices, and packing slips using SAP or another ERP system.
- Coordinate freight shipments, obtain shipping quotes, and communicate with freight brokers.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, assist with cycle counts, and support inventory improvement projects.
- Operate powered equipment, including forklifts and cranes, when properly trained and authorized.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards to help ensure operations run efficiently.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and work collaboratively with purchasing, quality, engineering, and other departments.
- Support workplace safety initiatives, continuous improvement, and team training.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, and warehouse or stockroom operations.
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Assets: Experience working with part numbers and mechanical components, along with previous leadership, coaching, or training experience.
