ABOUT THIS POSITION
Digital Extremes is currently seeking a Senior Back-End Cloud Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will work with cutting edge technologies in an exciting novel area of development for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Extremes is currently seeking a Senior Back-End Cloud Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will work with cutting edge technologies in an exciting novel area of development for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in back-end technology choices.
- Cost-efficient back-end coding practices.
- Write robust, maintainable and secure code.
- Web-app front-end communication with back-end code.
- Game client/server communication with back-end code.
- Maintain code performance through profiling and optimization.
- Correspond with parties involved in features and feature requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science
- Requisite language expertise: Node.js / Typescript, C++/C, Go (basic familiarity)
- Databases: MongoDB [or similar NoSQL], SQL
- UE4 [or similar engine] experience
- Linux experience
- AWS [or similar provider] experience
- Perforce, Git Experience
- Strong communication skills, work ethic and motivation.
