Prica Global is looking for a Social Media & Events Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. Your role will be focused on building our brands through web and social marketing, events and sponsorship, and other digital marketing projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
Web and Social Marketing
  • Build strong, positive relationships with industry influencers/bloggers to increase awareness and collaborative business opportunities
    • Build industry, media and influencers contact lists
  • Develop, maintain and execute a monthly content editorial calendar for our social media channels, blogs and websites to be approved by the Marketing Specialist
    • Develop content that will engage our fan base and attract more followers
  • Proactively introduce new ideas (contests, photo sharing, polls, surveys)
    • Day-to-day posting on social channels, blogs, website
  • Daily monitoring of keywords, competitors, influencers on social channels, blogs and websites to identify trends, threats and opportunities
  • Identify and report on customer service issues that reside online, and work to resolve them with key stakeholders
  • Engage our fan base by sharing relevant content from influencers
  • Identify widely used keywords and phrases in our industries
  • Weekly social analytics report with recommendations
  • Research, report and execute on opportunities to promote brands on external websites
    • Posting logos, organizational summaries, and listings to industry related websites
    • Build and maintain advertising periods and details of each site
  • Assist with pay-per-click campaigns and search engine optimization
Events and Sponsorships
  • Build and maintain the Events and Sponsorships calendar and execute on our commitments
  • Create, submit, and adhere to a budget for each event/activity, upon approval by the Marketing Specialist
  • Coordinate event/sponsorship requirements and logistics
  • Work with the marketing team to create new design booth assets and promotional materials for events as needed such as invitations, email blasts, and all other print and digital material 
  • Promote events and sponsorship on social channels to drive attendance/awareness (prior/during/after)
  • Build and maintain the inventory of promotional branded items, event displays and printed materials for events (sourcing and negotiating with vendors)
  • Identify and recommend new community/industry events and sponsorships
  • Weekly sponsorships and events analytics report with recommendations
  • Available to attend events evenings and weekends if necessary
Other Projects
  • Contribute to writing and editing of print materials, video concept/scripting, and other marketing projects
  • Create internal newsletter to distribute news about our clients
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Qualified candidates should have a background in communications, PR, journalism or marketing (minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role)
  • Ability to generate ideas/concepts, take initiative and work within minimal guidance
  • Hard-working, goal-oriented individual with a strong passion for digital marketing, online communities, social networking and events
  • Analytical, detail oriented and exceptional organizational and time management skills 
  • Driven with high energy, positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Flexible in an environment of changing priorities
  • Persistent desire to deliver what’s best
  • Superb communication skills
  • Master of social media platforms, analytics tools, and apps
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of Blog platforms – WordPress, Typepad, Tumblr, Blogspot, etc…
  • Strong ability to work in a PC rich environment
