Job summary:
Entry level classification into the Cement Industry, assisting and ensuring a broad array of tasks are completed; ensuring continuous running of plant site
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
General Housekeeping of all areas of plant
Heavy lifting of material
Previous experience Operating lift trucks & skid steer machinery
Operate pneumatic hammers and as directed.
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
Experience / Education
Must be able to perform heavy manual labour under adverse weather conditions along with extensive dust
Familiarity with the materials, tools and machinery used.
Some experience as a general mining or construction labourer.
Knowledge of the cement industry, considered an asset
Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
Must be able to work all 3 shifts on a rotational basis (7-day a week operation) must be available for Sunday day work schedule
Pre-employment Medical is required
Clean drivers abstract is required
Clean criminal background check required
Work overtime as required.
