The Project Accountant and Billing Coordinator is responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine the profitability of projects and costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labour, as well as invoicing customers in accordance with project milestones. We are looking for someone that is detail-oriented, a fast learner, professional and a team-player. It is crucial that our Project Accountant and Billing Coordinator promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
This position requires a minimum of 2 days in Stratford each week but there is flexibility to work in Elmira for the remaining days as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely preparation of invoices for customers in accordance with present terms and project milestones, including final invoices for completed jobs, deposit invoices, and progress invoices.
- Review job costing and support the Project Managers through the life of the job. Regular meetings with the Project Managers will be required to facilitate this process.
- Analyze actual project costs to the budget and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Provide detailed information to Project Managers as to overall Percent Complete of project, potential issues and potential gains
- Entry of time sheets to allocate time and resources to each job on a weekly basis
- Ensure that all payments have been made before commencement of service or shipment of products.
- Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting process and probability of products and services
- Running credit reports and creating customer records in the ERP system for approved new customers
- Attend weekly production meetings in Stratford at 8:00am each Friday.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Interest in project accounting and analysis
- Excellent in writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel is required
- Commitment to excellence and impeccable ethical standards and integrity
- Advanced time management, attention to detail and organization skills. Adaptable and flexible with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressures and demands
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
