Our client in the Waterloo area is looking for a day shift Shop Foreman to oversee a steel fabrication shop
The ideal candidate would be someone with minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience and be comfortable with Health and Safety and employee interaction
The Shop Supervisor be responsible for being the Liaison between the Plant Manager and the shop personnel.
- 40 to 44 hours/week
- $30/hour
- Growing company
- Excellent Benefits package after probationary period of 3 months

- Strong friendly team environment
What is expected of you :
- strong communication skills
- previous experience managing others
- ability to multitask
- team player
- knowledge of raw metal materials
- quality control
- data entry, computer use, Microsoft office
Additional Assets:
- previous experience in shipping and receiving
- mechanical knowledge
- previous welding experience
