Knar Jewellery was founded in 1978 in Guelph Ontario by the Buzbuzian brothers, Greg and Jeff. Knar began as a tiny 200 square foot jewellery shop in Guelph which has grown into four stores located in Waterloo, Guelph, Oakville and our new store in Toronto. Over the last 30 years Greg, Jeff and their dynamic team have created stores of innovative style, showcasing premier fine jewellery and timepieces. From the beginning, Knar Jewellery has respected and practiced the time honoured traditions involved in creating fine jewelled works of art.
 
Over the past decade, Knar has become a recognized leader in the use of advanced technology in design and manufacturing. Exceeding client expectations is accomplished by offering the best quality, excellent service and professional sales advice. Knar Jewellery is very proud to serve the Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge Oakville and Toronto communities through support of its organizations and charities.


KNAR Jewellery is currently seeking full-time and part-time Sales Professionals for our Waterloo location.
 
Knar Sales Professionals are primarily responsible for:
  • Building and establishing client relationships
  • Build client relationships by providing prompt and exceptional sales and after-sales service
  • Achieve individual sales goals by using strategic sales skills
  • Work with clients to understand their wants and needs
  • Provide clients with the Knar Experience that is unrivaled in the industry
  • Keep apprised and be knowledgeable of all the products offered by Knar
  • Preform some administrative duties such as, transfers, product shipping/tracking, keeping the store clean and tidy etc…

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate's qualifications must include the following:
  • Minimum two (2) years luxury retail sales experience in the jewellery or retail industry
  • Proven clientele development skills
  • A proven track record in achieving sales results
  • Passion for Luxury retail industry
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to prioritize while handling multiple tasks
  • Capable of working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in Point of Sales (POS) systems, Word and Excel
  • Be independent, self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and friendly
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • A college or university degree and previous gemological experience considered an asset
 
Schedules are generally written in accordance of our store hours Monday - Friday 10-6, Saturday 10-5 Sunday- Closed.  Due to the demands of the position some hours may be worked outside of our store hours.
