We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis to support our London, ON office. We are looking for a strategic thinker dedicated to understanding client needs and effective in assessing risk. Your professionalism and accounting knowledge will be integral to support our clients by delivering quality and reliable tax services.

We are looking to grow the blueCaribou Chartered Accountants practice and we are looking for a candidate who can lead our Maitland Street Office. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a wide range of client-facing engagements including notice to reader engagements and tax compliance for small to mid-sized businesses

  • Preparation of complex income tax returns and preparation of financial statements per regulatory standards

  • Conducting analysis for clients including forecasting and projections to demonstrate performance and advise on recommendations

  • Performing various operational activities to meet business objectives, client needs, and maintain overall service levels

  • Respond to general inquiries from both internal and external sources regarding the status of business-related transactions 

  • Organizational tasks including coordination and communication to maintain strong and positive client relationships



  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in public accounting partnered with demonstrated client relationship management 

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation obtained through successfully passing CPA, CA examination

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel) with experience utilizing Caseware, Taxprep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting (SAGE50)

  • Ability to work independently on projects with integrity for a professional environment

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workflow for multiple clients
