Our client in Waterloo is looking for an Set-Up Technician. Candidates must have 2+ years experience with set up . No CNC experience required.

Successful candidates will have at least 2 years Set-Up experience. Our client is looking for someone who is a fast learner, and confident making decisions but also willing to ask for help and speak up when required.

The Set-Up Technician role will have the candidate working with first-runs of injection moulds. Very fast paced environment so looking for someone who is used to flipping moulds and setting up injection machines. As well, the candidate will be responsible for running the machines until a good part is achieved.

This is a permanent opportunity with one of Kitchener-Waterloo's largest automotive manufacturers with room to grow and develop your skills.

- Reporting to the tooling manager, shift supervisor or shop foreman
- working with mould designer apprentices and supervisors
