Junior Suveryor | Surveying | Kitchener

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated self starter to work as a Junior Surveyor within the Survey Division at our Kitchener Office. As a Junior Surveyor, you will be assisting with the completion of accurate Topographical Surveys and construction layout of underground services, roads, grading projects, and buildings. Other responsibilities will include CAD drafting and survey calculations. Although this position is based in Kitchener, you may be required to work from MTE’s Stratford office occasionally.

You must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, have basic familiarity with laser levels, total stations and GPS survey equipment. You will be expected to have a basic understanding of civil engineering design and how this applies to surveying. Strong mathematical skills combined with standard field book knowledge, good communication skills and attention to detail are considered assets.The ability to work flexible hours to meet contractor’s hours is required.
