Construction Superintendent - High Rise Projects
Stonerise Construction Inc., a division of Auburn Group of Companies is a progressive real estate development company based out of London, Ontario with a proven track record of success and a substantial future ahead. Current projects, all located in Southwestern Ontario, range from $2 million to >$50 million and include residential high rise, mid-rise and mixed use developments.
Overview
Due to significant growth, OctanePeople will oversee the recruitment of a professional superintendent with significant high-rise construction experience.
Key Functions
The superintendent will oversee and document all activities related to the jobsite. You will manage and monitor all work performance while providing responsible leadership.

The superintendent will oversee and document all activities related to the jobsite. You will manage and monitor all work performance while providing responsible leadership.
Responsibilities include and not limited to:
- Ensure that safety equipment, apparel and working conditions are strictly inspected per policy and all governing regulatory agencies
- Determine resource and logistic requirements; assist in planning and updating the work schedule
- Review construction documents for constructability and design coordination
- Assist in monitoring costs for various budget line items; contribute to cost saving measures and best practices
- Ensure quality meets expectations through timely QC inspections
- Chair and manage weekly subcontractor meetings
- Liaise with consultants for project inspections; attend all inspections
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- 3 or more years of general contractor experience
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in a construction related program
- Demonstrated success and knowledge of construction methods
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication and team building
- Skilled establishing and working collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic team environment effectively managing multiple projects, priorities and timelines
