Fitness Centre Team Member

Reporting to the Recreation Programmer at the Woolwich Memorial Centre, the Township is seeking to fill the position of Fitness Centre Team Member.  The main focus of this role is to facilitate fitness and active living for WMC members and members of the public and to provide excellent customer service to all participants. This will be accomplished by providing direct supervision of Fitness facility during posted supervised hours, cleaning and inspecting the Fitness Centre equipment and supplies as required, and reporting any issues.

Working in this role requires the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, excellent communication and public relations skill and the ability to deal with customer complaints in a professional manner.  Current First Aid/C.P.R. certification is required as is a general knowledge of fitness, health and wellness.  Group Fitness and/or Personal Training certification is an asset.

Hours of work for this position are Weekday evenings 5 – 8 pm & Saturdays 8 am – 12 pm, or as required.
