Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will conduct psycho-educational assessments of individual students to determine learning and well-being strengths/needs. The individual will be writing effective psycho-educational assessment reports that integrate assessment findings and make recommendations to improve educational outcomes for individual students. The candidate will assist school personnel, parents and community personnel in understanding students’ challenges, exceptionalities and strengths/needs. The individual will participate in Department committees while also working as part of an interdisciplinary team to assist schools in programming for students in a tiered approach to intervention. In addition, the individual must review external reports to support programming and provide professional development to school board staff. 

Minimum Qualifications:

 
  • Master’s degree in Psychology or equivalent is required; verification of post-secondary education (degree or original transcript) will be required
  • Training in the administration, scoring and interpretation of C Level measures is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of computers including digital assessment practices is preferred
  • Proficient report writing skills required
  • Experience in an education setting preferred
  • Reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s license for travel to a variety of work sites is required
 
Job Specifications
Hours of Work  17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
Rate of Pay $ 75,183 - $88,714 annual salary based on 1.0 FTE
