Opportunity

Ingrox Limited is currently looking for a full-time, permanent General Manager to oversee its two business locations in Ingersoll and London. Reporting to the Business Owner, the General Manager is responsible for the business and financial operations of the company. The incumbent oversees all store locations and manages every element of the company, including operating and controlling budgets, ensuring store productivity, overseeing daily functions related to equipment and facilities maintenance, recruiting and developing employees, and maintaining the superior level of customer satisfaction that contributes to the company’s profitability and reputation. 

Responsibilities and Hours of Work
 

-     Oversee the daily operations of the business, including administrative functions and processes
-     Manage internal budgets, establish financial strategy for sales, and optimize expenses 
-     Execute strategic decision making related to company finances 
-     Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance  
-     Provide leadership and direction to a team of employees by modelling exceptional customer service and treating others with respect and diplomacy 
-     Recruit, orient, and develop employees at all store locations 
-     Oversee and conduct regular maintenance of store equipment and facilities, including snow removal, salting, furnace/AC maintenance, and mini storage unit 
-     Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including but not limited to, Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act 
-     Resolve conflict as it arises in a timely and efficient manner and provide solutions to issues (e.g., employee conflicts, loss of business) 
-     Manage external relationship with community partners, including the Townships and municipalities 
-     Collaborate with Business Owner to ensure business and financial operations are in alignment with established goals 
-     Articulate the company’s goals and ensure that employees are aligned with goals and values 
-     Ensure that employees are providing high quality service 
-     Other duties as assigned 


What you offer
 

-     Secondary diploma required 
-     Post-secondary certificate and/or diploma in a trade, or completed apprenticeship is an asset 
-     High level mechanical and plumbing aptitude is essential 
-     Knowledgeable of car wash operations and supplies 
-     Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills 
-     Exceptional attention to detail 
-     Excellent written and verbal communication 
-     Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
-     Ability to think critically in a high-paced environment
