Job Description
The Electrical Controls Leader plays a pivotal role in our automation team. Skills and creativity are used to develop automation solutions that are innovative, high quality, functional systems, meeting all customer specifications and timelines. Working closely with the quoting team, the designers, panel builders, programmers, and the customer, your time is spent making decisions that affect every aspect of the business.

- Project coordination of design, programming, commissioning, testing and production support for company projects
- Assist in quoting and estimating as needed
- Coordination of onsite service and troubleshooting
- Coordination of Engineering & Design
- Produce electrical schematics AutoCAD Electrical when required
- Create, modify and or correct Robot, PLC and HMI programs and documentation for machine controls
- Interaction and support with mechanical designers
- Coordination of contractors/vendors when on site for service
- Project commissioning support
- Create and support machine manuals in conjunction with mechanical department
- Aid in purchasing electrical components for machines
- Installation management and support
- Onsite equipment support.

- Toshiba Machine – SCARA Robots
- Vision Guided Robotics – Custom & Standard Platforms
- Data Management – Database Integration with PLC
- A Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and/or Licensed Electrician
- 5+ years of experience in Custom Designed, Automated Machinery
- An understanding commonly used automation equipment and processes including vision, sensors, servo motors, power supplies, drives and PLC’s
- Understanding of Electrical Code and electrical circuits
- Working well with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to complete tasks, and projects to determined deadlines
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage people
