Our client, SPM Financial is a highly respected financial services business in London, Ontario, that specializes in personal and corporate financial planning, investment management, group insurance, and estate planning for Canadians. The staff is made up of financial experts who are led by an experienced team of administrators and managers with expertise in various product areas. Our client aims to educate their clients to make well-informed decisions that will help them reach their financial goals.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a highly organized, professional, and adaptable Client Service Associate to join their progressive team in London, Ontario.

Job Summary

The Client Service Associate will provide individual insurance as well as investment sales and service support to new and existing clients. Supporting an assigned advisor or group of advisors, the Client Service Associate will assist in the advisor(s) to achieve their sales and business goals, while providing an excellent client experience.
Using the Client Relationship Management (CRM) software, the Client Service Associate will also be responsible for documenting, tracking, and reporting all client-related activity and any associated tasks.

About You

You have a post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business, or related field of study, with up to two years of related experience working within a financial advisory services firm. Additionally, you have completed a Life Licensed Qualification Program (LLQP) or willing to obtain within 18 months of hire with financial assistance provided by the company, and, ideally, have completed a Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) and/or a Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA) Mutual Fund license.
You have demonstrated knowledge of individual life, disability, and critical illness insurance administration, as well as investment administration, including RESPs, RRSPs, RDSPs, LIRAs, RRIFs, LIFs, GICs, TFSAs, and non-registered accounts. You possess solid understanding of industry compliance regulations and requirements. Additionally, you have demonstrated experience (basic to intermediate) using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Pro, and other similar software. You have familiarity using a CRM software i.e., Sage, video conferencing software i.e., Zoom, and, preferably, DocuSign. You flourish in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple competing priorities, and you are an excellent problem solver always rising to the occasion. You have a capacity to work independently while also being a collaborative team player, contributing and supporting individual and organizational objectives.

Salary Range: $45,000-$52,000
