Start.ca has partnered with Prime Management Group Inc. in the search effort of a Talent Management and HR Business Partner to join their progressive London, Ontario team – in-office and/or remotely.

Reporting to the People and Culture (P&C) Director, this proven Talent Management and HR Business Partner will collaborate and engage with business leaders/managers with a focus on developing and advancing their people and culture functions/services, including expanding leadership and employee programs and processes driven by business needs. Additionally, this leader will focus on solutions delivery and strategy while providing HR consulting on specific projects and initiatives.

The Talent Management and HR Business Partner will manage workforce/talent management planning and the full cycle recruitment process for service roles, perform P&C metrics analysis, and support leadership and managers in developing action plans for engagement and team performance. Moreover, this position will lead policy & process development, continuous performance review, succession planning, retention, global best practices, and legislation/compliancy. As an important change agent for the organization, the Talent Management and HR Business Partner will lead, drive, implement, and support critical change initiatives and empower teams through effective communication and feedback channels while ensuring organizational values are defined, understood, and practiced.

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR Management or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, plus a post-graduate certificate/diploma in HR Management or equivalent. In addition, a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or higher will be required as well as a minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in HR with an entrepreneurial or fast paced organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of the industry and possess business/competitive environment HR best practices, and have sound generalist knowledge of principles, practices, and functions of effective Human Resource Management as it pertains to this role. Additionally, the successful candidate will be highly collaborative, results-oriented, and strategic with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to be able to partner effectively with employees and leaders.
