Licensed Auto Body Technician

Due to consistent growth our large collision center is looking for a highly skilled licensed 310B automotive repair technician that is registered with the Ontario College of Trades.

Job Summary:

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for full auto body work, repairing all types of vehicles to the highest quality standard in a production type of environment.

Our technicians repair dents and damages align repairs and/or replaces damaged structural or mechanical parts and components. The incumbent must understand structural and non-structural panel replacement, uni-body and full-frame repairs.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday

What we're looking for?

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

? Provincially recognized Auto Body Collision Repair License - 310B (Journeyman/Red Seal)
? Able to work full-time in a physically demanding role (heavy lifting up to 70lbs.)
? 4 years of body shop experience
? Gold/Platinum i-car certified (preferred, not required)
? Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
? Must be willing to relocate to London, ON

Job Requirements

? Review damage estimates
? Remove and replace damaged vehicle panels and parts including frame components
? Repair damaged panels and frame components
? Hammer out dents, buckles and defects
? File, grind and sand body surfaces that are repaired
? Weld replacement panels
? Inspect repaired vehicles
? Maintain clean working area
? Willing to work in a team oriented and friendly shop
