Reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing, the Key Account Manager will:
  1. Manage current key account customers in North America to meet sales/market share/margin goals for the Automotive market segment
  2. Manage the RFQ process
  3. Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities.
     
  4. Grow business within current customer base to expand sales/margin:
    • Participate in new product launches, communicating all non-technical/non-engineering issues
    • Coordinate with Customer Service and Quality team to communicate customer changes or issues and expedite the resolution
       
  5. Acquire and manage new customers to meet Sales goals:
  6. Develop and follow up with prospects for the Canadian Market
  7. Present customer quotations and obtain feedback to help close new business
  8. Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and provide management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  9. Participates in trade shows and conventions
  
Do you have?
  • University degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a technical field
  • 5 years sales or account management experience, preferably in auto parts manufacturing,engineering or technical services
  • Silicone, automotive connector or wire harness industry experience
  • Excellent MS Office and CRM software skills
Successful candidate will also:
  • Have strong analytical skills and technical background
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers at all levels
  • Be available after hours approximately once per week due to handleEuropean or Asian customer calls
  • Have valid passport and no conditions that would prevent frequent travel by Car or airplane, primarily within North America but occasionally to Asia and Europe
  • Valid Driver’s licence
