Job Description
Responsibilities
-
Supervise dispatch and admin staff and assign work schedules to meet the customer’s needs as well the company’s budget commitments.

Communication with customer, drivers and admin staff on daily issues and changes to plans including plans for scheduled maintenance and equipment repairs.

Oversee all driver and trip scheduling.

Scheduling of equipment for PM services and coordination with vendors, shop and drivers to mitigate expense.

Monitor driver activities through Onboard and job site observations and ensure drivers are compliant and working in a productive manner.

Liaison with Safety and Compliance on safety related issues and perform job site observations and reports on behalf of Safety and Compliance.

Manage driver scheduling based on vacations, forecasts and mitigate overtime.

Manage driver surge needs with HR and or third party vendors.

Responsibilities may evolve and/or change over time based on business requirements.
Core Competencies and Qualifications:
• Self-started in order to achieve tasks with strong problem solving skills
• Familiar with MS Office (outlook, excel, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong customer service attitude
• Experience in a leadership role is preferred
