Manager, Test Services
Agricorp is seeking a Manager, Test Services, to join the Test Services team within our Information Technology division. The Manager of Test Services will support the overall end-to-end system testing for Agricorp.
The Role
As the Manager, Test Services you will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing the end- to-end testing portfolio to ensure all Agricorp systems meet the required standards and are functioning as required for the clients/end users while ensuring data integrity. This role will provide management as well as technical leadership to the Test Services team members. In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for a specialized department that provides critical end-to-end test services for the organization
- Provide strategic leadership to department work plans in line with divisional business plan and corporate scorecard
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to employees in the department
- Develop coaching, training and development plans for all employees in the department
- Act as a senior test resource to identify, plan and implement testing processes for new programs
- Develop and approve processes, policies and procedures for effective end-to-end testing and make recommendations to existing policies and standard operation procedures to gain on-going quality and efficiency improvements
- Address Agricorp’s end-to-end testing needs for both the immediate and long term
- Establish, maintain and manage critical relationships within the team, with internal stakeholders across Agricorp and external organizations
- Resolve critical resource, business and management issues that present considerable risk to Agricorp
- Lead change initiatives to ensure continued efficiency and quality in long term change
- Manage departmental resource requirements/people/financial (including budgets) and re-allocation to meet strategic goals of the division
- Conduct all performance reviews for team members under direct management

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 10 years’ experience in testing
- A minimum of 5 years of people management experience
- A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in testing environments, test methodologies, test tools, technical writing, software development life-cycle and test methodologies
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry and Agricorp business is an asset
