Job Description

Maintenance - Certified Tradesman - HVAC
Breck Ave, London
Permanent Part-time 0.5 FTE – twelve-month (12) position
(5200 Wellington Rd. South, London, ON N6E 3Y1)
Under the direction of the Supervisor(s) of Maintenance, perform work in accordance with the appropriate designation as recognized by the Ministry of Skills and Development. This involves the maintenance, repair, installation, and construction of structures, fixtures, and equipment throughout the school board sites.
Qualifications and Skills:
Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary range: $32.58 to $35.57
(Commensurate with experience)

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of five (5) years HVAC experience
- G1 and 313A technician certification
- Install, service, balance and repair heating, gas and electric ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, chillers, boilers, etc.
- Repair and calibrate pneumatic and electronic controls and thermostats
- Monitor and correct problems in HVAC systems through computerized BAS systems
- Perform other assigned duties that are within the area of knowledge and skill as required
- Sheetmetal/ductwork
- Perform work in accordance with applicable codes, acts, and standards
