Working in partnership with Prime Management Group Inc., Custom Foam Systems (CFS) is actively recruiting a motivated, passionate, and adaptable Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in the Fabricated Products division. The Business Development Manager aims to drive new growth and profitability for the Fabricated products division by leading GTM, prospecting, and deal management activities. Additionally, they will ensure new Fabricated production meets the requirements of ISO 9001 and medical device quality systems by managing CFS’ APQP team activities.

As an integral part of the Senior Management Team and an ambassador of CFS, you seek to embrace and model your actions, business decisions, and techniques to model CFS’ vision and value statements to be the best at developing innovative solutions for our customers. The strategic thinking Business Development Manager will build rapport and maintain effective and positive relationships with all members of the Senior Management Team and existing clients. Likewise, the dedicated leader will develop and liaise with new clients within the USA and Canada and can support connections and work effectively with both vendors and suppliers.

With their passion for manufacturing, the Business Development Manager will participate in the policy deployment process with the Senior Management Team, ensuring that the process is extended throughout the team. The proven leader will have the technical mind to navigate any quality concerns and the ability to relay them back to the company in team meetings. Furthermore, the Business Development Manager will manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes for Fabricated Products development and collaborate with product engineers and production to verify the ability to meet RFQ specs.

Reporting to the President, the Business Development Manager will lead GTM sales campaigns for Fabricated Products, collaborating with the sales team to establish markets and customer groups for prospecting new business. Additionally, the leader with a strategic mind will manage the sales process, including customer communication, pricing, quoting, new customer onboarding, and managing to source and evaluate new Vendors for foam raw materials.

To qualify, the Business Development Manager will hold a University Degree in Business or similar and/or have 10+ years of experience in the field. Likewise, the successful candidate will have previous experience effectively managing a team of direct reports, a wealth of knowledge in product development and a solid understanding of the manufacturing industry. Must have strong problem-solving ability, and ensure continuous improvement within their team.
