Do you love working in food production? Do you have leadership skills and mechanical aptitude? If this sounds like you we have an amazing opportunity to work for a major player in the food industry in New Hamburg. In this role you will be running a transfer machine as well as troubleshooting issues that arise on the production floor.
Responsibilities will include:
health and safety inspections
monitor food quality
organize sanitation duties
act as a back up as a machine operator and sanitation when required
Advantages
- Great starting wage $19-20/hr
- 4 day work week
- Monday, Tuesday afternoons/ Friday, Saturday days
- Pension after 1 year
- two weeks vacation
- room for career growth
- boot allowance
- benefits after 3 months
Qualifications
- Leadership skills
- Mechanical background
- Troubleshooting ability
- Microsoft applications understanding
- HACCP knowledge an asset
- Experience in the food production industry an asset
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead
- Able to adjust your hours for end times if issues arise
