Compensation:

· Salary $58,000-$63,000 depending on experience

· 100% Employer Paid Health Care Benefits Package

· Long Term Disability 100% employee paid

· HOOPP (Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan)

· Overtime paid out at time and a half or time off in lieu

· Clothing allowance

· After first full year of employment 3 weeks vacation

 

About the Position

The Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor will provide direction to department team members to achieve production goals of linen products that meet quality and delivery deadlines, as specified by our customers. The Supervisor will lead a highly motivated team and ensure the safety and welfare of all team members. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to Midnight, rotational weekend shifts every 8 weeks

 

The successful candidate will:

· Have a Post-Secondary School Diploma or some Post-Secondary education in any discipline (required)

· 2+ years working experience as Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment (required)

· Have the ability to understand how people work with machines, and work together with others, to get the job done in a multiple collective agreement environment

· Have a demonstrated ability of using proven steps which support a commitment to continuously learn and engage in educational development

· Have effective leadership training and use it to develop such skills

· Have excellent communication, organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task

· Use strong problem-solving skills to ensure production efficiencies are achieved
