ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR

POSITION TITLE: Environmental Educator (1.0 FTE)
SALARY RANGE: $45,719 - $58,581 per year
DATE OF VACANCY: As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Environmental Educator develops, delivers, and updates curriculum-based age and grade appropriate environmental programs to students in the elementary and secondary level, and maintains resources used in the delivery of such programs.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a two-year community college diploma in related programs such as Environmental Technician, Fish and Wildlife Technician or Parks and Forest Recreations and a minimum of two years related experience, involving the instruction of children in an outdoor setting is required.

The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons.
