Talentcor is currently recruiting for a Permanent Full Time Industrial Electrician for the Ancaster Area.
 
$30.00 /hr + Depending on Experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, program, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electronic controls within the plant to ensure the ongoing and reliable operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Assess report, promote, and carry-out process improvement initiatives, specifically with regard to machine and/or system reliability, improved start up performance, and improved automation and controls
• Contribute to the development of a preventive maintenance program, calibration activities, and replacement or repair of defective parts, component or system performance testing
• This position requires excellent communication, negotiating, team orientation and problem solving skills. Knowledge of PLC, CNC, Omron Controllers, Allen Bradley, Fanuc Robotics required. Knowledge of TS16949 standards an asset
• Ensure operational quality and efficiency targets are maintained

 
Qualifications

• Must have proof of Industrial Electrician Certificate (402A) and work equivalency
• Experience with Mechanical Assembly, Machine repair, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems, PLC and CNC based control and logic systems, welding and basic manual machining skills are an asset
• Must be willing to work continental shifts, rotating as necessary
