Job Description
Our client in the Niagara Region in the Automotive Industry has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their recruit for a Process Engineer to join their team. This is a 1 year contract, with opportunity for a permanent role.

In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Coordinate all the engineering activities related to process
- Coordinate design activity both internally and with vendors for tooling and equipment
- Review and approve product drawings for manufacturability
- Develop and be responsible for content of operational sketches
- Coordinate major programs (New product launch/new manufacturing equipment)
- Coordinate product designs with manufacturing and quality to ensure design is producible at the lowest cost to meet objectives
- Research and develop new product/process technology
- Complete Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Perform engineering design calculations
- Assist maintenance department in troubleshooting issues with new and existing equipment
As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- Approximately 5 years of Process Engineering experience
- Previous experience working with FORGING ( is a must have)
- Basic design background, CATIA would be considered an asset
- Basic CNC Programming experience
- Previous experience with FMEA, GD&T, TS 16949
- Valid driver’s license and passport
