Job Summary
Consistently deliver on National Sports Customer Service Standard while accurately processing sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Ability to accurately process and balance all transactions
Answers and directs all customers calls and inquiries to the appropriate department in a friendly and efficient manner
Acknowledges all customers entering and exiting the store
Follows all cash procedures as per corporate policy and procedures
Provides and delivers on National Sports Customer Service Standard
Assists customers as required
Training
Completes the Orientation and ?GREAT? training programs within required time frames
Attends all seasonal product knowledge training sessions and staff meetings as required
Operations
Assists in the maintenance of department and store
Follows all cash and audit procedures as per corporate policy and procedures
Follows and executes on all corporate policies and procedures including Occupational Health and Safety and Loss Prevention
Assists in the execution of seasonal changeover
Assists in the maintenance and restocking of departments as per current merchandising planner
Executes on merchandising, and pricing/ signing and Sale Prep plans.
Assists in the preparation and execution of the annual inventory count.
Qualifications
Retail sales not a requirement but a definite asset
Strong math skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Customer service focus
Evening and weekend availability is a requirement of this role
Interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting good industry an asset
High School Education preferred
