It’s with great pleasure that Prime Management Group Inc. is partnering with Marks Supply Inc. in the exciting search for a motivated, influential, and progressive Director of Human Resources (HR) to join their dynamic and growing team.

This proven mentor and collaborator will have a progressive growth mindset that positions the organization for future expansion and success through the development and implementation of scalable HR plans and frameworks. This includes influencing and continuing to build upon a high-performance culture to attract and retain top talent while internally developing best-in-class employees and leaders to align with the organization’s goals and objectives. In addition to overseeing the HR function for Marks Supply Inc.’s multiple locations, the Director of Human Resources will also manage and consolidate the HR responsibilities of TML Supply, a recent acquisition, and coordinate best practices between both organizations and their parent company in the United States.

Reporting to the President of Marks Supply Inc. and as a key member and partner of the senior leadership team, this agile and resilient hands-on Director of Human Resources will work in a hybrid capacity from the Kitchener, Ontario office to build and implement a sustainable framework for employee and leader career development, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and talent management. This confident and creative Director of Human Resources will lead, coach, and empower a growing team of HR employees while preparing progressive, company-wide HR organizational and operational plans to motivate all employees for successful individual career paths and scalable future company growth.  In addition, this highly results-oriented Director will be responsible for continuously improving upon all HR processes, including performance management and succession planning to create sustainable HR action plans to ensure the exceptional training and development of employees and leaders.

In addition, this emotionally intelligent leader will function as a hands-on team member when collaborating and engaging with the organization's many business locations across Ontario and proactively influence a positive culture of teamwork in a rapidly expanding and high-growth company. This influential Director of Human Resources will have the ability to manage paradox and encourage an environment where new ideas and visions are embraced and understand how to build sustainable and appropriate plans around these innovative ideas. This influential Director of Human Resources maintains knowledge of current trends, best practices, employment legislation, and industry changes and applies them to enhance procedures within a high-growth company. The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, develop, and coordinate the HR policies and activities for the organization, oversee all employment law requirements, manage the HR budget, and act as a highly collaborative member of the annual HR planning processes across departments.

The Director of Human Resources will hold a university degree in Human Resources or related discipline, a CHRL designation, and have at least ten years of progressively more senior HR experience, with at least five years of proven HR leadership experience in high-growth, rapidly expanding environments. This proven leader will demonstrate considerable success managing all functional areas of HR, including coaching and developing employees, building innovative and progressive strategies, talent acquisition, legal compliance, organizational development, employee relations, and performance. Finally, this creative and intelligent leader will have demonstrated expertise acting in the capacity of a trusted advisor to a  leadership team, with the ability to build relationships and coach managers and team members at all levels.
