Job Description
Prica Orchard are looking ofr seasonal experieced fruit farm workers, for our orchards in Niagara and Waterloo regions.
Languages - English
Education - Completion of high school . Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
Experience - 2 years to less than 3 years .
Type of Farm Operations - Tree and orchard fruit .
Specific Skills:
Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops; Fertilize and spray crops; Harvest crops; Examine produce for quality and prepare for market . Type of Equipment - Fruit harvester; Farm truck; Fertilizer equipment .
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Walking; Bending, crouching, kneeling .
Transportation/Travel Information:
Own transportation; Vehicle supplied by employer; Willing to travel; Willing to travel regularly .
Work Site Environment - Outdoors; At heights .
Work Location Information : Rural community; Remote location; Niagara and Waterloo region
