With great pleasure, Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to be partnering with Dot Foods in the exciting search effort for a visionary, employee-focused and strategic Distribution Centre General Manager to join their Canadian leadership team and lead their new Ingersoll, Ontario location.
Reporting to the United States Regional General Manager, the Distribution Centre’s General Manager (Ingersoll, Ontario) will lead a growing distribution facility while developing best-in-class, sustainable business strategies and process efficiencies to scale operations for future growth and expansion. In alignment with Dot Foods’ organizational mission and vision, this collaborative and servant minded leader will also place high value and priority in driving a positive, employee-focused culture that allows for their team's growth and enhanced development through effective performance management, training, and mentoring.
In alignment with Dot Foods’ corporate objectives, this results-oriented General Manager will successfully develop and execute innovative strategies that promote the organization's continuous improvement efforts through lean thinking and the development of tools that identify and eliminate unnecessary waste. Additionally, this leader will oversee the preparation of various budgets, including sales, target, capital, payroll, and expense allocation for the ongoing financial achievement of the organization.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent work experience, with 7-10 years of proven senior leadership experience in a distribution or warehouse environment. In addition, this visionary leader will possess comprehensive operational and business planning skills and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that place a high value on relationships and collaboration. Likewise, the General Manager will have a proven capacity to motivate and mentor teams to high-performance levels, with the ability to meet and exceed the organization's goals and targets. Finally, the General Manager will demonstrate excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
