Job Summary:
We are looking for a setup person to increase the compliment in our setup department.  The specific job classification for the successful applicant will be determined base on the applicants’ current skills and abilities. The primary responsibilities of the position are to perform mold changes in injection molding machines ranging from 390 tons to 2,500 tons. This also includes setting up and processing the injection molding machines along with sonic welders, and all other auxiliary equipment.   
 
Principle Accountabilities:

• Responsible for all mold changes
• Make required part changes (cores and cavities)
• Interpret, follow and fill out required documents (set-up sheet or other)
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments to other equipment (unplug grinder chute, repair wiring and switches etc.)
• Shut down machines, operate robot and restart machines.
• Install and setup End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) and program robot positions.
• Maintain plant Health and Safety 

Knowledge and Skill requirements:

• Completion of College Graduate of Industrial Maintenance Mechanical course OR holder of Certification of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright OR several years of experience in a mold setup position
• Capable of using the overhead crane and lift truck and necessary tools in a safe manner.
• Good communication skills; verbal and written
• Strong computer literacy
