Systems Support Coordinator - Brantford On

The System Support Coordinator provides end user support for computer hardware and software, as well this role supports all IT production related duties; assists with technical issues and projects for all associate companies

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all back-ups and performed daily and maintain systems up time of 99%.
- Contribute and support IT Manager with annual IT business plan and budget
- Maintain all desktop computers and servers with equipment inventory listing of assets.
- Train all IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- On-call availability
- Coordinate or write management reports as required.
- Develop and train employees on associated company computer applications.
- Support EDI systems and integration with other end user systems.
- Develop/implement IT training programs or tools for staff.
- Microsoft Windows Server Operating System support
- Microsoft Exchange Server support
- Microsoft Windows Desktop OS support
- Microsoft Office technical support
- Cisco Firewall support
- Network switching administration and technical support
- Computer hardware and software technical support & administration
- Cisco VOIP phone support
- Microsoft Dynamics GP
- WMS – Accellos
- Database administration
- Post Secondary education in the field of computer science and/or related work experience.
- Keep update with technology news & trends
- 2 years of hands on experience as a system administrator
- Exceptional organizational & communication skills
- Ability to travel to plants as required
- Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems
- Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels for internal and external customers
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
