Gore Mutual is looking for an indispensable, one-of-a-kind, polished, and results-oriented individual who possesses a broad base of administrative and coordination skills to support our Vice President of Salas, Marketing and Distribution and our Vice President of Underwriting.
 
The ideal candidate will be highly dependable; be able to fully anticipate the needs of the Executives they support; remains calm and collected under pressure; meets deadlines and has excellent communication skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Calendar management, including scheduling meetings, coordinating visits with internal/external contacts, and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Preparation of budget sheets and expense reports
  • General administrative support including drafting correspondence, reviewing materials, and planning offsite meetings
  • Coordination and completion of special projects/assignments as required 
     
Requirements for this position include:
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Completion or working towards a certificate, diploma, or designation in Administrative Information Management is preferred
  • A proven self-starter with little need for direction
  • Possesses strong attention to detail and excellent proof reading skills
  • Experience working with Sales & Marketing Executives, that are often out of the office or traveling is an asset
  • Experience supporting multiple executives with dual reporting relationships is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under extreme pressure and deadlines
  • Financial acumen in regards to budget process/planning
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions and competing demands
  • Proven ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization specifically in demonstrating tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance
  • High degree of confidentiality and ability to work with sensitive matters
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and strong PC skills
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills
  • Speed in execution and effectiveness
