Job Description
Adecco, on behalf of our client, is currently recruiting to fill several Production Worker-CNC Experience jobs in Woodstock, ON.
Responsibilities of the Production Worker-CNC Experience jobs include:
- Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
- Machine casting for gas valves, machine and assembly
- Area has excessive noise
- Working with paint solvents, machining fluids and glues.
- Lifting will exceed 30lbs with repetitions of this or lighter weights
Qualifications for the Production Worker-CNC Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Clear criminal background
- Minimum 3 years of production experience
- Experience operating CNC lathes, drill presses and small lathes is required
- Blueprint reading experience and precision measuring tools experience is ideal
- Experience working in a machine shop environment would be an asset
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts
Position may be up to 6 months, depending on business needs.
Must be able to work day shift and an afternoon shift based on scheduled provided. Day shift pays - $17.25 / Afternoon shift - $18.25.
Must be able to work 2 shifts. Days - Mon to Fri 7am - 3:30pm. Afternoons - Mon to Wed 3:30 pm - 2:30 am Thurs 3:30pm to 12:30am.
