Scope of the Position

The Collections & Legal Support Administrator will be responsible for taking a lead role in the collection of active delinquent accounts and ongoing account administration, including dealing with insurance matters. In addition, you will assist in the collection of defaulted accounts through all available means such as litigation and enforcement procedures, as well as settlement negotiations.

Credentials and Experience

The desired candidate will have the following credentials and experience:

• Paralegal or Law Clerk Diploma, Collections and/or Small Claims Court experience is advantageous.

• Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, and the ability to learn and manipulate new software quickly.

• You have the ability to multitask and have proven organizational and time management skills.

• You have a strong sense of urgency and ability to effectively shift priorities as required.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to identify problems and more importantly, find solutions!

• Team player with great people skills showing an ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

• A proven high attention to detail.

• A valid driver’s licence.
